The state parole board has denied parole for David Brooks, who is serving a life sentence for his role in the 1973 "Houston Mass Murders" killing spree. Elaine and James Dreymala, whose son Stanton was one of the victims, have been pushing for a law that would allow more time between parole reviews for offenders convicted of capital murder.
