Houston-based software development company Tendenci is expanding its presence in the San Francisco area, the company announced Wednesday. Company founder and CEO Ed Schipul will relocate to the San Francisco Bay area, according to a company statement. Tendenci will eliminate a few Houston jobs, but maintain a presence here, including part of its software development, website design and administrative teams, according to a statement. Tendenci has had a Silicon Valley office since 2011. "We love Houston," Schipul said in a statement, but increasing the company's presence in the Bay Area will help Tendenci expand its business and improve access to potential investors.
