How Does U.s. Sen. Stephen Colbert Sound?

Talk about your shameless ambition. Stephen Colbert made a pitch on his show Thursday night to become a U.S. senator. Sen. Jim DeMint, R-S.C., is resigning to head the Heritage Foundation. And Colbert, a native of South Carolina, figures there is no better person for the job than him. And he has asked viewers to ask South Carolina Gov.
