Speaking with IGN during our Comic-Con 2018 live show, DC’s Geoff Johns said the upcoming Green Lantern Corps movie will “reinvent” the character’s movie presence. “It’s a complete re-imagining, just like I did Green Lantern: Rebirth in the comics,” Johns said. He explained that the big differences were more than just the fact that it will star John Stewart alongside Hal Jordan. You can watch the full interview here: Johns likened it to Green Lantern: Rebirth more than once, so it could be that it will follow some of that run’s plot points as well.
