GLENDALE, Ariz. — Swedish left wing Gabe Landeskog tied a boyhood idol for all-time goals in an Avalanche uniform Saturday, but the Avs’ captain won’t bank on following Peter Forsberg into the Hockey Hall of Fame just yet. Landeskog’s ability to match Forsberg with 202 goals with the Avalanche, third-most in club history, is a reminder of how good Forsberg was — because Landeksog reached 202 in 105 more games and he still trails Forsberg by 236 career points (469 to 705). Forsberg also had 47 more goals and 180 points during stints with the Quebec Nordiques (one year), Philadelphia Flyers (one and a half) and Nashville Predators (half). He and Landeskog won the Calder Trophy as NHL rookie of the year in 1995 and 2012, respectively.
