By Laura Haight WINFIELD - More than 1,100 students from Putnam County Schools made art with the Huntington Museum of Art during the 2014-15 school year. Cindy Dearborn, Huntington Museum of Art museum and schools coordinator, presented to the Putnam Board of Education as part of the museum's partnership with the school district. Dearborn said programs offered through the museum have been beneficial to both the students and the museum. "A lot of elementary schools in West Virginia do not have an art teacher," Dearborn said.
