Huntley Library Board Approves $12m Expansion Plan

A $12.9 million plan to renovate and expand the Huntley Area Public Library was approved without opposition during a library board meeting last week. The multimillion-dollar price tag would be raised by the issuance of bonds in that amount to be retired after 20 years. Library director Frank Novak said the bond issuance would require a referendum. A public meeting is set for 5 p.m.
