Icm's Jeff Berg Cautious About Mega-deals

Based on Candice Carty-Williams’ bestselling debut novel of the same name and adapted for television by the author, “Queenie” follows 25-year-old Queenie Jenkins (Dionne Brown, in a star-making performance), whose entire world is falling apart. Following a massive blowup at her boyfriend’s mother’s birthday dinner, Queenie finds herself single for the first time in years.

Erika Henningsen is re-teaming with Tina Fey on the latter’s upcoming Netflix series “The Four Seasons,” Variety has learned exclusively. Henningsen and Fey previously worked together on the Broadway musical version of “Mean Girls,” for which Fey wrote the book based on the movie of the same name she also wrote.

Six Alamo Drafthouse franchised locations are closing abruptly after their owner filed for bankruptcy. The venues include five Texas locations in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, as well as a Minnesota venue in Woodbury. The theaters are operated by Two is One, One is None, LLC, which is filing for Chapter 7.
