ATLANTA — Congress is about to enter its fall recess, and Georgia immigration reform organizations are calling for action. At a press conference in the state capitol on Wednesday, immigration advocacy groups, state representatives and members of the community called for comprehensive immigration reform in the United States. “We are here to uplift the injustice our brothers and sisters are facing,” said Yvonne Robinson, secretary-treasurer of Georgia’s AFL-CIO.
