PROVIDENCE, R.I. -- Four people were indicted this week on charges that they were involved in a crack cocaine distribution conspiracy run out of the Adult Correctional Institutions.James Gomes, 29, an ACI inmate, is accused of conspiring with his mother, Lisa Ellis, 50, of Pawtucket, to distribute crack cocaine, according to the federal indictment.
