Gene Garcia has been hired as the new director of music at Holy Family Parish in Inverness. In addition to being a skilled pianist, Garcia has a strong background in sound engineering and production, church leaders said. Garcia replaces Colin Collette, who was fired after announcing his engagement to his male partner.
