Clare and Daniel Bobo decided to leave Hawaii’s hotel industry and start their own personal chef business after one fateful conversation in a Costco in 2008. “Dan is a classically trained chef, and we moved to Hawaii in 2002 and both worked in hotels. We started to recognize that there were lots of home owners with their second, third, fourth homes in Hawaii, which represented a lot of opportunity for the personal chef business,” Clare Bobo told Pacific Business News.
