Jack Bruce, best known as the bass player and vocalist of the power blues trio Cream, one of the most influential rock bands of the 1960s, died Oct. 25 at his home in Suffolk, England. He was 71. Publicist Claire Singers and a statement released by Mr. Bruce’s family confirmed his death.
