Jacksonville police are investigating an early Saturday-morning incident in a south Jacksonville hotel that left one woman dead and another woman with life threatening injuries. At about 4:30 a.m., Jacksonville Fire and Rescue responded to a fire alarm at the Homewood Suites on the 8700 block of Baymeadows Road. They found the two women, one of whom was pronounced dead at the scene.
