A driver sustained life-threatening injuries after losing control of a car and crashing in the 2600 block of Philips Highway in Jacksonville early Sunday. The victim’s sedan was northbound at an unknown speed about 2:30 a.m. when the driver lost control of it. The sedan hit a parked car on the side of the road and then a tree in the median.
