Japanese internment panel discussion, film at Asian Art Museum Bay Area filmmaker Emiko Omori is front and center of much of the Bay Area observance of the 75th anniversary of the executive order to send Japanese American citizens to internment camps during World War II. Omori, a former internee who will be honored during next month’s CAAMFest, has created a video installation called “When Rabbit Left the Moon” — partly based on her 1999 documentary “Rabbit in the Moon” — that will be on display through Sunday, Feb.
