GREEN COVE SPRINGS, Fla. -- A black bear that wandered into Jacksonville Beach one week ago, then was relocated to Camp Blanding, has been euthanized, according to Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission. In a Facebook statement, the state agency said that the bear was found “behaving strangely” in Green Cove Springs on Monday and returned to Camp Blanding for study by biologists.
