Jefferson County commissioner Don Rosier will step down from his position in January to take over as general manager of the Sterling Ranch Community Authority Board, where he will oversee operations at the 12,000-home master-planned community in Douglas County. Rosier, a Republican who was elected commissioner in 2010 and re-elected in 2014, is term-limited next November.
