Jefferson County authorities are investigating a possible murder-suicide after a man and woman were found dead Saturday afternoon in Evergreen. Around 4:10 p.m. Saturday, Jefferson County deputies found Shelley Mohr, 37, dead after being shot multiple times, the Sheriff’s Office said in a Monday news release. A man, identified as 48-year-old Christopher Thomas, died from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound, authorities said. “The deaths appear to be domestic violence related and the investigation is ongoing,” Jefferson County officials said in the news release.
