LONGWOOD, FL. Joe Patrick Salyer died Monday, November 26, 2018, following a lengthy illness. Born in southwest Virginia, the son of Henry and Ernestine Salyer, he grew up in Kingsport, TN. He married his childhood sweetheart, Bobbie Ruth Turner, on September 17, 1954. Joe and Bobbie were married for 59 years until her death in 2013.
