With the release of any family movie, there's always bound to be some nut who isn't happy about the "moral decay" that its values promote.
Disney's super cute, and super successful, "Frozen" has now found its detractor in the form of Kevin Swanson, a pastor and Colorado-based Generations Radio show host who reportedly hasn't actually seen the film.
THR says Swanson has slammed the film's "progressive" agenda, calling "Let It Go" a coming out anthem and pondering: "if people are thinking: 'You know I think this cute little movie is going to indoctrinate my 5-year-old to be a lesbian.'" The film also promotes bestiality due to Kristoff's unnatural relationship with his reindeer Sven.
He goes on to hypothesise that the The Devil is now essentially running Disney, a company that is "leading the charge" to the "sewers of Sodom", and is using its movies to "make sin look enticing".
Speaking of "Frozen," the latest Honest Trailers has done a clever breakdown of the film and its quirks.
Chris McKay has been set to direct the sequel to "The LEGO Movie" for Warner Bros. Pictures.
McKay, an Emmy-winning frequent director of Cartoon Network's "Robot Chicken," was the animation co-director on the first film.
Michelle Morgan & Jared Stern are writing a treatment for the next installment which will be a straight sequel.
McKay succeeds the first film's helmers Phil Lord & Chris Miller who remain attached to produce.
Australian writer/producer/actor Leigh Whannell attended this year's SXSW Film Festival to promote his new effort, the crime drama "The Mule" which also co-stars Angus Sampson and Hugo Weaving.
