John Traier, the openly gay chairman of the Passaic County Regular Republican Organization, is marrying his longtime partner, Mark Peterson, on Saturday at Skylands Manor in Ringwood. While the wedding was planned long before the high court’s ruling, which made same-sex marriage legal in all 50 states, Traier said it was the perfect coincidence for a joyful weekend.
