Judge Narrows Query On Spill's Impact On Prosecutors

By Ken Ward Jr. A federal judge on Wednesday indicated he had narrowed the list of questions that U.S. Attorney Booth Goodwin and two assistant prosecutors will have to answer about the effects of the January 2014 chemical spill on their families.U.S. District Judge Thomas Johnston threw out numerous questions that defense lawyers for former Freedom Industries officials Gary Southern and Dennis Farrell had hoped to ask as part of their effort to convince Johnston to disqualify Goodwin and the entire Southern West Virginia U.S.
