Judge Reprimanded For Helping Release Suspect

(AP) — A Nashville judge has been publicly reprimanded for helping a domestic violence suspect get out of jail early at the behest of a friend who was also the suspect's attorney. According to the reprimand, David Chase was given a 12-hour hold, as required by state law, after he was charged with domestic violence on June 8.
