So how was the box office the weekend before Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker? Well, not surprisingly, Jumanji: The Next Level -- starring Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and Kevin Hart -- landed at number one with an estimated $60.1 million. That's almost double the debut of Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, which opened with $36 million. The film knocked Frozen 2 off its perch, after the Disney sequel ruled for three weeks, and will close in on $200 million worldwide by the end of the weekend. Frozen 2 continued to rake in cash, of course, holding on solidly to the number two spot with $19.2 million, making for a $366 million total domestically.
