I had mediocre expectations going in watching this film. IT'S SUPERB!! It fits really well for its time, as you see a metaphor for AIDS prevalent throughout the film with the main character's transformation. Jeff Goldblum gives a tragic, but amazing performance, as well as Geena Davis. I would say this is now my favorite film from David Cronenberg.
