KENT: A Kent State University professor has received a $1.8 million grant from the National Institutes of Health.Min-Ho Kim, an assistant professor of biological sciences, will use the funding over the next five years to develop “nanobombs,” which can treat biofilm infections in chronic wounds, the university said. Researchers hope the nanobombs will help fragile patients who cannot be treated with standard antibiotics.
