WILKES-BARRE – King’s College Education Department will partner with Luzerne Intermediate Unit 18 to host an “Evidence-Based” conference from 8:30 a.m. to noon Thursday, Aug. 11, in the Sheehy-Farmer Campus Center, located between North Franklin and North Main streets. This year’s theme is “STR²E²AM: Evidence-Based Practices.” Participants will choose three from 21 one-hour workshops designed to aid Pre-K-12 teachers in the areas of science, technology, reading, writing, engineering, early childhood, arts and mathematics.
