King County’s Champion Vote-getter — The Elections Director

The champion vote-getter in King County’s 2015 primary election is the King County Elections official who organized the dog-days-of-August primary. Julie Wise took 62.34 percent of the vote — yes, King County elects its election director — and captured 118,966 votes in the first “dump” of returns from the office of which she is deputy director.
