KINGSPORT — Students and staff of Kingsport City Schools who like ice cream, food in general and clean schools, listen up. KCS stands ready with a contract for ice cream and the purchase of some new kitchen equipment for the 2018-19 school year, but the search for a chemical products provider for School Nutrition Services is to result in a rebid. The Board of Education recently voted on a contract not to exceed $20,000 for ice cream products from Prairie Farms Dairy, which beat out Mayfield Dairy.
