The passage of the appropriations ordinance by Willoughby Hills City Council not only meant the city had a balanced budget, but it also resulted in the elimination of eight positions from the city's administrative staff.The eliminated positions included the executive/administrative assistant to the mayor, the Mayor's Court clerk of courts; finance assistant; and building/service department clerk all of which were not just full-time positions, but also newly formed union positions.
