Lebron’s Big Game Paces Cavs To Easy Win Over Warriors

LeBron James decided he wasn’t ready to hand over his thrown as the face of the NBA on Thursday night, making a 40-point night and Cleveland’s 110-99 victory over the Warriors look easy in a nationally televised game that many believe represented an NBA Finals preview. James played only 36 minutes and needed only 25 field-goal attempts to beat a swarm of Warriors defenders (Harrison Barnes, Draymond Green and Andre Iguodala) for 42 points, 11 rebounds and five assists. James was able to bask in his own glory on the bench for much of the game’s final 8:32 as Cleveland (37-22) moved to 18-2 since Jan.
