Legislature Approves Rural Health, Teaching Hospital Bill; House Agrees To Keep Medicaid Study Out Of Bill

A House bill cleared the Republican-controlled legislature Thursday that would address rural health-care initiatives, such as assisting rural hospitals with gaining Medicare approval to become teaching hospitals.
