According to The Hollywood Reporter, a "Lethal Weapon" TV series is in the works at Fox after the studio paid a hefty price to Warner Bros. Television for a pilot commitment. The series will be based off the film franchise that starred actors Mel Gibson and Danny Glover. "Furious 7" director James Wan is producing the series with plans for him to direct the pilot episode.
