Jackie Welch and I were elected to the planning board the same year. During this time I recognized her as a very disciplined, energetic person and a hard worker. She exemplifies citizen participation in town government in a most positive way. For the past two years, she has served as the chair of the planning board and represents the board in an exemplary manner at town meetings.
