T-Mobile is expected to begin merger talks soon. For the Bellevue, Wash., company’s more than 50,000 employees, the negotiations could put life on hold. Merger talks introduce a lot of uncertainty into the workplace. Employees are less likely to make big life decisions such as buying a home or starting a family, and they are more likely to lose focus or search for a new job elsewhere.
