The Lima Area Pickleball group is hosting a Pickleball Social on Sunday, Aug. 28, at Westside Pool and Racquet Club at 235 N. Eastown in Lima from 5-8 p.m. This event is to bring area players together for a little fun and fellowship. Anyone interesting in learning more about this new game with a funny name is encouraged to attend. There will be two courts marked for playing that evening and beginner instruction as well.
