Liverpool Loans Out Markovic To Turkish Club Fenerbahce

LIVERPOOL, England (AP) — Liverpool has sent Serbia winger Lazar Markovic on loan to Turkish club Fenerbahce for the rest of the season. The 21-year-old Markovic cost Liverpool 20 million pounds ($31 million) when he was signed from Benfica in the summer of 2014 but hasn't established himself in the first team. Liverpool announced the loan move on Sunday. Fenerbahce also signed Robin van Persie this summer from Manchester United.
