Several lady linksters journeyed Thursday to the Adams Municipal Course to participate in a star-spangled competition. The Adams Women’s Golf Association feature was Red, White and Blue, but the ladies mostly saw green during the spirited battles which ended in a tie for the overall honor. The threesome of Kathy Brown, Willy Polk and Diane Daniels carved out a score of 131 and then won the tiebreaker to earn bragging rights.
