Rep. John Faso blamed the defeat of the House Republicans' $868 billion farm bill on Friday on "unrelated issues" that became entangled in the debate, and predicted the House soon will pass it after resolving those issues."Unfortunately, the Farm Bill was unable to pass today as a small group delayed passage of the bill over unrelated issues," Faso, the Kinderhook Republican who represents Ulster and Sullivan counties, said in a statement after voting for the bill.
