Growing up in a rural region of the Dominican Republic, Nicole and Ron De La Rosa Ramirez did not anticipate receiving diplomas from Providence College — they had not even heard of Rhode Island. But on Sunday, brother and sister donned caps and gowns together and joined Providence College’s 100th graduating class at the Dunkin’ Donuts Center.
