State Rep. John Binienda, a long-time Worcester Democrat who served in the House for more than 25 years, has died, a friend and former official confirmed today. He was 67.Binienda, who announced in February he was not seeking re-election as he battled complications from diabetes, including kidney disease, was first elected in 1986 and most recently chaired the legislature’s Joint Committee on Rules.He died overnight after several months of a “complicated” health battle, said former state Rep.
