Collections would have been higher if not for continued declines in gross production tax revenue connected to low oil and natural gas prices. Monthly collections of $1.32 billion exceeded last April’s receipts by 0.5 percent. “These numbers indicate Oklahoma’s economy is still thriving, but growth is more subdued than during the past few years,” Miller said.Read more on NewsOK.com
