The Macomb County prosecutor plans to appeal the state appeal court's reversal of a child-abuse conviction of a Sterling Heights woman whose daughter died from a drug overdose.Prosecutor Eric Smith said he wants to maintain the second-degree child abuse conviction of Kimberly Murphy, whose 11-month-old daughter, Trinity, died after ingesting morphine nearly four years ago.
