MINOT — A Minot native has pleaded guilty for his role in the Capitol riot. Glen Mitchell Simon pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor of demonstrating inside the Capitol, after reaching a deal with federal prosecutors. He could face up to six months behind bars and pay a fine up to $5,000. Simon was arrested in Georgia in May and posted video and photos of himself inside the Capitol back on January 6.
