The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm watch for Saturday afternoon through Sunday evening for most of Massachusetts.The Berkshires, South Coast, Cape Cod and the Islands will miss the brunt of the season's first storm, but the rest of the state is in line for 6 to 11 inches of snow and ice.The ice is expected to cause power failures and tree damage.
