Three years after her daughter was shot in the head by the Taliban for daring to promote girls' education, Malala Yousafzai’s mother has spoken publicly for the first time about her own experience in returning to school. Speaking at the Women in the World Summit in London on Friday, Tor Pekai Yousafzai said she left school at a young age because she was "the only girl in a class full of boys," The Guardian reports.
