A man delivering the Sacramento Bee was pistol-whipped and his car was stolen in south Sacramento this morning. Sacramento police responded to the mugging about 3:15 a.m. in which a husband and wife were delivering newspapers at an apartment complex on the 6800 block of 24th Street. While sitting in the car, the husband noticed a man following his wife as she delivered the paper. The husband confronted the man and was pistol-whipped.
