WOODBURY – Two South Carolina residents were arrested on weapons charges following a high-speed chase from the Thruway to Route 17 early Saturday morning, police said.State police gave the following account:Troopers pulled over a 2015 Volkswagen Jetta on suspicion of speeding, after clocking the car going 97 mph on the Thruway in Woodbury.
