Staff reports U.S. Sens. Joe Manchin, D-W.Va., and Shelley Moore Capito, R-W.Va., announced Tuesday that they have secured $5 million in federal funding for repair of state highways and roads damaged by a winter storm that hit the state from March 3-6. "[The storm] took a destructive toll on many West Virginia communities, impacting our homes, businesses, highways and roads," Manchin said in a statement.
